In the afternoon of August 4th, Isabel and me went up to Wacken.
After wandering through the village fo a while, searching for the entrance (^^) we finally walked around in the stage area and watched Six Feet Under and Nikki Puppet. Six Feet Under - well you can only call it a crap. Definitely no good live band. The whole show consisted of singer Barnes shaking his head... no, I liked Nikki Puppet on the W.E.T. stage and Ektomorf on the party stage more.
Then we first left the festival area for a while and walked around in the village, buying a few shirts. While taking shirts on and off, Isa lost her necklace she had bought on the Philippines. She really liked it :-(
That's bad, we didn't find it.
45 minutes til the In Extremo gig begins and Rebehn really wants to eat something! Well, I had to hurry with my french fries because Isa went more and more nervous. Finally, when they already opened the gates and thousands of people were really streaming to the stage, we were between them. My baby didn't really care for people standing in her way when pulling me further to the front. Finally, we didn't see much, especially my little Isa seemed a bit lost between all the big black people.
Anyways, it was a fantastic gig, just great show. By the end we had to leave the crowd since Isa had become problems with her stomach. We enjoyed anyways.
Then we left the area again because the following band, probably Carnivore, was that loud you couldn't stand it for long time. So we bought chips at the gas station and sat on the sidewalk, enjoying the atmosphere.
Don't know when, but we went back to the festival, but didn't enter the stage area again. We were picked by her father soon. PRoblems again, when Isas dad couldn't find us (but we were right :-P)

Isa had a family party on Saturday afternoon, so we could only go in the eveing. Arrived in Wacken about 17:30
Today we wanted to see Whitesnake, Motörhead and maybe Rose Tattoo. And Isas brother Stephan wanted a shirt aswell. ^^ Never seen him wearing it.
Isas stomack was o.k. so we could enjoy it better. At least me, she didn't know a single Whitesnake or Motörhead song.
We somehow missed the time, so were lucky to get a good place in front of the stage at the Whitesnake gig. The concert was def, only the long solos in the good old Deep-Purple-way were a bit boring.
Anyways, it was big fun. I was a bit sorry about Isa, she stood there the whole time though she didn't even know a song. I asked her wether we should go somewhere else, but she stayed "I want you to have fun"
After waiting and eating something we wanted to see Motörhead. But we were too late, stood at least five miles from the stage and didn't see anything but a light far far away. I liked it better in 2004, when we were quite far in the front.
When realizing that we both didn't like this, we left the stage area to rest somewhere. There we got sleepy, so we went home earlier.
But it was great both days.
